Carry On Wayward Son – Anime Style!

This October 2015 will be the premiere of the 11th season of Supernatural. Even though the show has dropped dramatically in quality, we’re all still die-hard fans who will stick with them until the very end. Anyways! This post is actually about the anime series. Yes that’s right, there’s a Supernatural Anime and it is …

The X-Files: A Baby Phile’s First Impressions

I’m a big sci-fi and fantasy fan, and when Fox announced they’d be reviving The X-Files in January, many of my geek friends all but forced me into watching The X-Files in anticipation of the revival. Finally, I relented, determined to make it through the entire series and movies in six months prior to the revival in January 2016.

Prison Pals

Summer: beautiful weather, barbecues, FanExpo and the end of TV season. Luckily for us, Netflix releases new seasons of Orange is the New Black every summer to fill the void. But in all honesty, this heavy hitter could some serious damage anytime of the year. Here’s my spoiler free review.

Do you like TV shows about nerds? Were you a fan of The Big Bang Theory when it was all about the nerds until it became a knock off of Friends? If so, you should definitely check out Silicon Valley – a show about geeks, nerd culture, and what it takes to make it big in …

Her Name…is Kara Zor-El

Surprise surprise, the Supergirl pilot leaked! I’m starting to think that DC TV might be deliberately releasing these “leaked” pilots to generate hype before the show actually starts (same thing happened to Flash last year). All the TV shows that you’re watching make you feel, “Yeah…that was fun…I guess?” It sounds like you have a very serious condition called: Breaking-Bad-Withdrawal Syndrome. What’s the cure? Blue methamphetamine, …

I’ll see your Hip-Hop and raise you some Anime

Anyone who  knows me knows that I have massive place in my heart for both video games and hip-hop. Sadly the amount of artists making decent music in the genre is slim to none. Inevitably every nerdcore artist becomes a novelty. I wouldn’t be caught dead admitting that I listen to nerdcore. Not because I think people would …

Remembering Leonard Nimoy

On Friday February 27 2015 , Susan Bay Nimoy confirmed that Star Trek legend, Leonard Nimoy, succumbed to his lengthy battled with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. His death has saddened the nerd community, Trekkies casual and die-hard alike connecting in their communal grief over the shared loss of the renowned actor most famous for his role …

Save Constantine!

Comicbook TV shows definitely aren’t slowing down anytime soon. In the past few years,  it was just Arrow and Agents of Shield. This year, we were introduced to Gotham, The Flash, Agent Carter, Daredevil (coming very soon) and one of my favourites, Constantine. How good is it? Well, it’s a hellblazer!
