The Inhuman Race

While the world’s eyes are set on Age of Ultron, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is wasting no time setting up the Inhumans movie.

Gotham vs Flash? Flash quickly races up the list of my favourite shows this season

I am going to make an unpopular statement. I don’t really like Batman. Yeah, yeah, I know, grab the pitchforks and chase me out of the nerd club. Sorry, but Batman always seemed like a silly idea to me. I mean, bats aren’t intimidating or scary –they’re cute! And don’t get me started on the …

Super Mega No Thanks!

We all know that cranky old man character that complains about change, how things were different, how things were better when he was a boy. I am usually all for change, always excited and interested to see where the future will take us. But some things don’t need changing, sometimes the original, the classic approach, …

Before the Bat

Before the Batman was Batman there was a city full of criminals and crazy, and a young James Gordon trying to keep his promise to a boy. I am not sure how I feel about this show. Feels forced and a bit confusing. Maybe its because I know more background info on the characters than …

Some Assembly Required

Once upon a time there was a really cool Avengers show with a wicked theme song that everyone loved. 2 seasons passed and the show just kept getting better and better; which of course means it was time for it to be replaced with another show. Marvel’s answer to a problem that did not exist …

Saving Television…in a Flash!

Yesterday I noticed that there were several reviews/blogs about the Flash pilot episode on the internet. I knew TV critics were given an advanced screening but after reading these reviews, it was clear that the episode was leaked and these reviews were by regular nerds. So, I rushed home, got the pilot episode and watched …

Agents of Shield

A TV show that focuses on the made-up and minor characters of the Marvel cinematic universe. It doesn’t sound very exciting. After all, people watch superhero movies to see the superheroes – not the minor characters that just support the superheroes. Despite all this, Agents of Shield isn’t half bad.

You Have Failed this City

Arrow – yes, there’s a lot of buff men looking for excuses to walk around shirtless, it’s on the CW unfortunately, and there’s some cheesy romance. However! This is nothing like Smallville or Agents of Shield (yeah I said it!). In fact, it’s the best superhero TV series and my favourite show to watch right …

It’s Time for Buster!

More and more I find myself drawn into the Japanese world of Tokusatsu; namely Super Sentai, on the menu for the next couple of days is GO-Busters, the 36th team in the series. So far its pretty alright, bit different than what I’m used to, definitely liking the toys though!
